It was an extrordinarily beautiful day

It was an extrordinarily beautiful day, even for the tropical Hawaii. I had actually consented to a blind date set up by my good friend, which was to be held on a yacht. When we got to the normal docking area, we learned that we could not board the boat as usual; the dock was covered in flood waters. The yacht had to travel to a different area to pick us up. From the distance I could see a very handsome man sitting on the edge of the boat, taking off his shoes and rolling up his slacks.

I thought how strange that was! Then the man lowered himself into the water, and begin wading in our direction! After a few minutes, he reached the area where my friend and I were, and introduced himself. He was my blind date! Then, he carried both me and then my friend to the party on the houseboat. That was the best-looking, most attentive blind date that I ever had, and sometime later, I married him!
