Serious With Someone At Young Age
Me & my boyfriend met August 3, 2000. I knew at the time, that he was someone special. Being only 11 at the time, I didn't really know that love existed. I was a flirty girl, just like everyone my age. I wasn't looking for the person that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.
I had a boyfriend, but we weren't serious. When I met Allen, my heart felt like it dropped to the center of the earth. He was cute, funny, smart, and he looked as if he knew how to have a good time. I imediatly fell for him. He came up to me, and we started to talk. Then he asked me to go to a dance with him.
Well, I didn't think that it would be a good idea, having a boyfriend and all, so I told him no. Well, a few days later, he was very upset. He was crying and I felt bad for him. So I gave him a big hug. I told him, "You'd better enjoy this, because this is the closest that you will ever get to me."
Our friend said, "You never know..." I never thought, in my wildest dreams, that I would start going out with him. But, six months later, I asked him out. He, of course, said yes. We've had a great relationship. Of couse, we've had a few rough times, when we weren't sure about our love for each other. But, I think that it is going to turn out O.K.
We're about to have our 14 month anniversery, and we're both about to turn 13. Even though we live 30 minutes away from each other, and we only get to see each other a couple times a month, I love him and I want to spend the rest of my life with him. People say that I'm crazy to be so serious with someone at my age. But, I don't think so. We love each other, and that's all that matters.
