A Sweet Morning... Cheer Up... Sweethearts

A Great First Date
There's this girl I really like, but we're really good friends, so I think I've come up with a way that will really get it going for a more intimate relationship. See I want to ask her out and this is how I'm going to do it. Some Saturday I'm going to see if she wants to go to a movie just as friends. She'll probably say yes because we're best friends and we do a lot together. So anyways, after the movie we're going to go back to my house and I'm going to say "Do you want to go for a walk?" Then when we're walking I'm going to take her to a park where I'll have a special candlelight picnic planned out. We're going to have strawberries and whipped cream (perfect for feeding each other), a single rose will be sitting at her place and a series of romantic songs will be playing. Then we're going to dance and it's going to be perfect. After that I'm going to have under her plate a note that says "I love you, will you go out with me?" Then before she leaves I'm going to give her a goodnight kiss. -submitted by Stephen Miller

A Night On The Town
Have a car waiting to pick him up at work with the driver holding a sign with his name on it. The driver will then drive him to the hotel of your picking and give him the key and room number. Upon entering his room, he will find a suit and a note to get dressed and go back to the car. After he is dressed and leaves the room, you go into the room, unseen, and scatter rose petals all over the place and put champagne on ice. Have the candles and music ready to be turned on upon your return. Now it is time for you to get in your car and meet up with him at the restaurant he has been taken too. It is okay to be a little late because at this point he is wondering what is going on. You arrive in your sexy evening gown and a rose. Don't forget to put on some of his favorite perfume! After a romantic candle lit dinner, the two of you return to the car together and the driver takes you back to your hotel. Go up a little before him so you can turn on the music and light the candles. Also, run a hot bath with rose petals covering the surface of the water. When he arrives in the room romance him with all you have in you. He will never forget this night and may even plan a night to top yours. -submitted by Becky

A Secret I Love You II
I wanted to tell my boyfriend that I loved him so INCREDIBLY bad that I think I had told everyone but him that I loved him so finally after a long while of contemplating I took a small piece of paper wrote "I Love You" on it and stuck it in his inside coat pocket. I knew he would find it eventually, and finally tonight he found it. He told me that when he found it that it made his day so much happier! He also told me he loved me too. It's one of the happiest nights of my life and I will never forget it!!! -submitted by Anonymous

A Sweet Morning
One of my guy friends and I have always liked each other, but we never really did anything about it. I'd slept over before and we'd cuddled, but that was as far as it went. We're both 20 years old and in college. He's had a number of long-term relationships, whereas I hadn't even dated. I hadn't even kissed anyone before. A few weeks ago, he and I were talking in his room and he kissed me. It ended up being a sweet overnight visit of kissing and cuddling, till he had to go to work the next day. When he went to work I made his bed and sprayed it with my perfume, then wrote out a long, sweet poem about how much he means to me and how excited I am about the line we crossed. He called me when he got back from work and said it was the sweetest thing someone had ever done for him. It really touched his heart. -submitted by Abby

A simple gift!
I have been thinking of what to do about this special someone that I'm trying to get hooked up with... It's been 6 months since my last girlfriend broke up with me and I was emotionally stressed until... A friend of mine introduced me to a beautiful girl a few days ago. To make a long story short, my idea is to get a few items to put in an envelope. An index card of which I'll draw Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes with a special message on one side, then another picture of him with another special message on back. One of the stories will be fairy tale-like in which the guy gets the girl. And the last story is the finishing touch... It'll be a made up day about me thinking about her and what romantic thing I can do to make her mine. I hope she likes it. -submitted by Perfect Angel

Asking me Out
Ok this is how my boyfriend asked me to be his girlfriend and it was truly great! Ok it was at one of his high school football games, and at half time he got on the load speakers and said, "Megan Chardonet, I really like you-will you be my girlfriend?" Of COURSE I said yes-how could u say no to that? -submitted by Anonymous

Cheer Up
I was talking to this guy before I moved and we weren't “official”, so sometimes it's hard to do "sweet nothings" in pre-dating stages when you are 600 miles away from each other. I was very sick one day and I sent my guy an email complaining about how terrible I felt. A few hours later I received an email that said: "I'm sorry that you feel bad, wish I could make you feel better. I hope these pictures cheer you up!” As I scrolled down, I saw tons of pictures that reminded me of times that we had spent together, from stores we had gone to, to movies we had seen together, the kind of car he had and the last picture was a personalized license plate that said "MISS YA." This brightened up my night. It was something so simple and sweet that made me realize even more what a great guy he is. -submitted by Sarah

Childhood Sweethearts
My boyfriend and I have known each other since I was born. We have always been the best of friends, and we do everything together. Eventually though, I fell for him, and wanted to be his girlfriend, but he had been hurt before by a girl, so I was too scared to do anything. His friends told me he liked me too, and one day I received a note handwritten on beautiful paper, and a cassette. The note said that he had had feelings for me for a long time, and included all the reasons why he loved me. It said to listen to the cassette, then to meet him in the middle of a clearing we used to picnic at, if I agreed to be his girlfriend. The tape was a recording of him saying all the reasons he thought I was special, and then a romantic song he wrote just for me. It ended with him saying, "I love you," in 17 different languages. At the picnic spot, we saw each other and we just burst into tears- him because I had accepted, and me because I was so happy! We're still together. -submitted by Tasch

Creative Interests
I'm a college student and I'm in love with my best friend. She is well aware of this fact, but I wanted her to know just how interested I am, so I decided to do something for her. I typed out a very professional looking resume complete with a career objective: "A starting position as boyfriend for a beautiful, smart, busy, wonderful woman....", outstanding qualities, experience (consisting of things we had gone through over the past year of being best friends) and references. I also typed up a nice cover letter stating my intentions and qualifications. I printed these out on some expensive resume paper using a friends really nice laser printer (I even printed the envelope) and mailed it to her. It looked great and she loved it. :) -submitted by Dan Cawley

Dated...
This is not so much an idea, but something that I did for my love. I never believed in love at first sight until I met Micheal. It wasn't quite love at first sight, but following our first date, there were feelings inside me that went far beyond expression. I didn't want to say something that I may regret later, or more likely, something that would scare him away, but I had to let it out or I would simply explode. I sat down and wrote him a letter telling him of my feelings for him. I told him that I thought I was falling in love with him and that I thought he was absolutely wonderful. I put it in an envelope and mailed it to my own home, but with his name on the envelope. It was only a couple weeks later when he expressed that he felt the same feelings about me, and so I pulled the letter out of my drawer and handed it to him. Noticing the post-marked date, he read the letter with complete astonishment, and was totally charmed to know that I had fallen in love with him on our very first date. -submitted by Megan
