Attacked in a blitzkrieg fashion.
Missiles, and bombs, and words.
My chest pounded with the bombardment
From the artillery of shattered dreams.
In my arteries I could feel the blood gel.
My stomach, a rotten piece of fruit,
Clogged with smoke, and booze.

Living in a hellish wasteland
Of finality and never.
A pull and a pint
