A Sensual... A Sweet... A Romantic... Surprise

A Chance to Dance
My husband and I were having dinner at a local dinner with some friends one evening and after dinner he went to warm up the car and bring it around front. A favorite song of ours started playing on the radio when he pulled up. He rolled down the windows, turned up the volume, and led me to the front of the car in the headlights. We danced in the parking lot with the snow falling and people watching. However, I felt that we were the only two people in the whole world. We've been married eight years now and we never miss the chance to dance. Including parking lots when the mood strikes us. -submitted by Jacki

A Day to Go Out and Play
I love it when my partner takes a day off work and we plan something and spend the day together. The other day it was pizza, shopping, bowling and a film and we both had a great time. Its important to do 'friend' things together as well as the usual couple stuff. -submitted by Lynz

A Honeymoon At Caesars II
For our honeymoon, my husband and I choose Caesar’s at Pocono Cove Haven, Pennsylvania. We saw many pictures, and thought it would be a nice place to start the rest of our lives together. We choose a room in the Garden of Eden Apple. The ride was great. I think I drove the whole way I was so excited. We stopped in NY City to see family, and then we left for the rest of our Honeymoon. We arrived at our suite, and went straight to the heated pool that was in a separate enclosed room in our suite, and made love. Then we went on to the heart shaped jacuzzi. I think it took us a few hours to Christian our Honeymoon suite. It was great, and we can't wait for next year. -submitted by Anonymous

A Letter To Remember
Before your wedding write a letter to your husband to be and have them write one to you. Write about anything. But, focus on your relationship with that person. Then put both letters in a safe deposit box. On your 25th anniversary exchange letters that you wrote to each other. -submitted by Stacy Nelson

A Little Time Together
My husband used to work the evening shift and didn't get off till midnight and I go to bed at eleven. We hardly ever got to see each other and we had only been married six months. He was under so much stress and we were both missing each other terribly.
One night I decided to surprise him. I bought several roses and Hershey’s kisses and sent him on a love hunt with little notes. Here was this huge man in a security uniform picking up a trail of Hershey’s kisses up off the ground on his hands and knees! It finally led him to a trail of rose petals, which led him to a bubble bath prepared for him in the bathroom with soft music and candlelight. The note said for him to take a bath and relax. As he was lying in the tub, I came in wearing sexy lingerie. I washed his back and he finally convinced me to forget the lingerie, so I joined him. That little time together meant the whole world, and when he switched shifts, we were even more grateful to have some time together. -submitted by Darla

A Morning Trail Of Kisses
My husband works early in the morning sometimes, and I am most often still asleep when he comes home. One morning I woke up to loud pounding on the door. It wasn't quite seven o'clock yet so I knew it couldn't be anyone else but him - but why was he knocking on the door? When I opened the door, I found a beautiful card saying how much he loved me, with a noted added on the bottom that said, "For a big kiss with zero calories, follow the trail." So I looked at the floor, and sure enough there was a trail of Hershey's kisses that lead around the apartment complex to where he was waiting to give me my big kiss. -submitted by Carrie

A Romantic Bouquet of "Roses" for Him
A while back, I created and hosted "Husband Appreciation" night at our home. After inviting several couples, I asked the wives to keep the night's theme a secret from the husbands. I then informed each wife that she would have to "tell" her husband why he was appreciated and then "show" him by presenting him with something special and unique to express her love and appreciation. When our husbands discovered that the night was in their honor, they were so touched! It was a very romantic evening. The husbands, and wives, too, are still talking about it. This is what I did for my wonderful husband:
after telling him why I so greatly appreciated him, I presented him with a beautiful vased bouquet of home depot gift cards, (complete with baby's breath, greenery, and a bow)! I bought a large arrangement of artificial roses; I removed the flowers from the stems. In the place of the flowers, I hot glued the gift cards. He loved it!!! Not all men enjoy receiving flowers. My husband is one of them, but those flowers he'll always remember and never forget!

A Sensual Dip In The Kiddy Pool
I came up with a funny - maybe a little kinky idea to surprise my husband when he got home one night. I'd sent the kids to their Grandparent's place for the night, and bought a plastic drop cloth, a cheap inflatable kiddy pool, and a big bottle of baby oil. I fed him a superb dinner, and led him into the bedroom where I'd set up the drop cloth and pool on top of the bed with lit candles all around the room. We spent the rest of the evening lounging (among other things...) in the pool full of baby oil. It was a memorable, very sensuous experience, and he REALLY appreciated it. All for less than $20! -submitted by Erin

A Sweet Surprise
Being married for 7 years, I was pleasantly surprised last night when getting some ice cream for our 4 yr old son. When I opened the container, I found a heart sculpted out of ice cream which my husband had created for me and left in the container for me to find. What a sweet surprise in more ways than one! -submitted by Lisa

After Work Limo Ride
My wife had been working long hours of overtime for several days. She was never sure what time she would be able to leave the office and we weren't spending as much time together as we usually do. I decided on the spur of the moment to pick her up in a Limo and to spend the night paying attention to each other & just enjoying doing whatever we wanted with no interruptions from our kids, work, friends etc. I called a Limo co., walked across the street to a local florist, picked up flowers, and stopped at a local tavern to make sure that her favorite beer would be in the Limo (the bar owner thought it was so romantic she contributed a bottle of champagne). I called my wife at work and told her I would pick her up so she wouldn't have to take a bus home. I changed into dress clothes and was waiting for her at the side entrance to her building. The look on her face when I put the window down and called her name made it all worthwhile. We had a great time, that was about 3 years ago but I can't wait to do it again. -submitted by Darrell
